As far as I’m concerned this party was not easy to forget, in a positive way as well as negative, because of some unpleasant incidents that occurred with people who I believe don’t belong at my party.
I am a positive person, so I will start with the fun things.
The Showboat’s kitchen staff did their utmost, because they outdid themselves on Friday.
There was ample food available and it tasted really well.
I love spicy meals full of flavour and yesterday the meals were perfect.

Serious players occupied the play areas downstairs for most of the evening and night.
I didn’t feel the need to take part in SM play, but in case in case I did finding a suitable place to play would have been quite the task.
However, I gave my husband Rob a needle play session.
It was not part of any SM play, but it was more therapeutic to relieve him of his stress.
His small company is suffering from the economic crisis and his stress manifests itself as neck pains and shoulder problems.
By using needles in strategic places I can help him get rid of his discomfort.
It was something we should have done a long time ago, but both our lives were filled with other plans.
When I’m stressed or when I’m not feeling so well, needle play just doesn’t work, because I can’t feel where I should put my needles.
 At around two o’clock I had the right mindset and I used it well, because Rob feels much more relaxed now.

I have received many sweet compliments about my appearance, something every woman likes to hear.
What struck me was that a few different people asked me if I had lost extra weight after keeping ourselves to our yearly diet in January.
Both Rob and myself lost around seven to eight kilos, but we had about the same weight at the anniversary party last month.
Since then we haven’t lost any extra weight.
Apparently it also depends on the outfit you’re wearing, because when I wore this outfit in a completely different setting, people also gave me similar compliments.
As you might understand this outfit is at the front of my fetish dresser.

Last Friday’s party was not sold out like last month’s, but it was very crowded nonetheless.
At around 22.30 hours more than 170 people were already at the Showboat something that has never happened before as far as I know.
In my humble opinion the mind blowing success of the seventh anniversary party last month has certainly contributed to it, because that night was in all respects just perfect.

Unfortunately success always attracts people who don’t belong at a decent SM-Fetish Party, but do belong at Kinky Parties or House Parties where morals and the treatment of well-mannered people are not considered very important.
The BDSM scene in particular is well known for its tolerance and respect for other people, which is very obvious for the Showboat’s bar staff.
I don’t know if some kind of deal was made, but a large group of rude and aggressive men and women showed up.
When my Dungeon Monitors addressed certain people about this, they were treated with disrespect and were at the receiving end of rude comments.
Thank goodness that is very unusual at my parties.

This month I had planned a new company for the clothing stand: Nelliesz.nl from the area around the Dutch city of Groningen.
Nelliesz sells both beautiful party outfits made from good quality imitation leather as well as gorgeous whips and accessories.
At the end of the evening I saw many people walking around in Nelliesz’ outfits – amoung them one of my Dungeon Monitors, Johan – so I believe they went back north satisfied.

My friend and colleague Mistress Winnifred and her partner performed the show.
I obviously spoke to Winnifred when she arrived, but when I saw her again during the show I hardly recognised her.
She looked so completely different with the open mask she wore; I really had to look twice.
In her performance Mistress Winnifred wanted to show that BDSM doesn’t always have to be tough and painful, but can be loving and tender as well.
She certainly succeeded since the performance was beautiful and elegant and seemed to come straight from the heart.
The many secret hugs, tender touches and kisses showed these two people were not just acting.

Our next party will be on Friday 10 April and as always I recommend everybody to reserve your tickets in time and to respect the dress code.
Friday 10 April is the start of the Easter weekend, so it might get very crowded.
