Last Friday, Showboat and I celebrated my SM-Fetish Play Party’s 8^th anniversary and like any jubilee, it was a genuine mad house.
A waiting list had to be opened Wednesday before, luckily only few people had to be disappointed: it was busy, like really busy, but with still some air to breath.
Very necessary, because my Party is a BDSM party mostly and you need the space to play your game.
On special nights I always book extra shows besides the traditional performance by Bob & Chantal - they took the stage at my first party and repeated this feat for the 8^th time.
In those eight years, Bob & Chantal turned into a very professional and inspiring phenomenon.
Always fun to look at and very educational for the affectionados.
But most of all, I just love them a lot and each year, I’m very happy they give a demonstration of their art on my birthday.
Sweeties, my heart goes out to you!

Our extra performer was Princess of Darkness. I had been so impressed by her previous performance that I had to have Lisa-Marie for my jubilee.
Her shows are quite different from what we are used to at my parties: lots of theatrical pieces, classical dance, burlesque, spectacle and Friday’s act ‘Mystical Faun’ was no exception.
Spectacularly made up as a green forest nymph – please look at the pictures, because they say so much more than I can describe – she followed a beautiful classical dance with a theatre act then ended in a dance where burning leaves seemed to materialize out of her hands.
Later, she served the delicious snacks from the showboat kitchen, which gave a wonderful image of a tree with a tray, great!
Lisa-Marie, thanks a million, I was enthralled again and will come by in Breda soon!

The Clothes stand was also specially hand picked: Peter Domenie.
For 15 years already, he’s been designing very special gear that seems to evade any existing Fetish category.
If you want a beautiful outfit, that guaranteed you won’t see a second of at a big party, definitely consider Peter Domenie.
Should you plan to go to Fetish Evolution in Essen (Germany) at Easter, Peter will be there too with a stand.

Odoratus, the tattoo and piercing specialists from Heemskerk, were also there.
In the old days, Odoratus adorned people with piercings or advice every month, but the last year, it’s only been one in three, because of serious back problems.
But even Jimme wouldn’t want to skip my jubilee! Very proud I was about my super guest of honor… my own dear mother.
It wasn’t the first time: except for one, she attended all my anniversary editions.
Another tradition is the free glass of bubblies and the take-home present.
My dear friends, Iris and Peetje, poured the champagne.
Beautiful ladies and delicious toys, thank you so much for taking care.

Playing was out of the question for me, being occupied all night by all my dear friends and acquaintances, who come especially for me.
I hardly even went down stairs this time, but from what I’ve seen, the plays were beautiful and intense, just not from me.
A jubilee is also a good occasion to take a moment for all those people back stage that make the success of my parties.
It is wonderful to be the center of attention and credits for what I have achieved, but I didn’t do it single handedly.
Many, many people have helped me enormously these last eight years and some till today.
It would be unfair to exclude them from the success and deluge of compliments we get every time.
First, I would like to thank the entire crew of Showboat and Arie Foekens in particular.
The beautiful location and the kitchen, security, bar crew, professional dance floor and fantastic play area’s are quintessential.
Also, I’m very grateful towards my trusty DM’s for their unrelentless effort, month after month.
Being a watch dog is a very unrewarding task, people think you’re nauseating and irritating when you have to set them straight and if you don’t oversee, they’re angry because they say you don’t do our work right.
Do consider! Thysca, Johan, Fleur, Hans, Gerard and Richard, thank you very, very, very much for you tremendous zeal this year.
Without you, we would have never succeeded in bringing the party to such a high level.
Further, the DJ’s, past en present, that proved to be essential for a smashing party and the photographers, Cor, my husband Rob and recently, Erik, partner to Mistress Madieanne, who each month present the rest of the world a glimpse of the most exciting moments of my party.
Mouth to mouth advertising is important, but it is a lot more fun if you can actually see what is being talked about so hotly!
